Dieting Changed in the Age of the Blob

Once upon a time dieting was a feminine thing. Women dieted to keep beautiful. Dieting came under the heading of Beauty and fashion.

Not any more.

Nowadays men, women and children do it and dieting definitely comes under the heading of health

More people than ever before are dieting because we live in the age of the blob. It's often a case of diet or die.

Partly due to a lazy modern lifestyle and junk food, people are increasingly getting grossly obese and unfit. It's a common sight nowadays to see people of all ages so fat they can hardly walk. Even our pets are becoming blobs.

It's as if the human race is set on a suicide course. The situation is so serious that governments around the world are currently spending millions of dollars trying to persuade people to eat properly and exercise. The cost of bad health caused by being overweight is a major political consideration.

Being a blob is not just looking disgusting. Being a blob means you are likely to have high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, severe back and leg pains or one or more of a host of other potentially killer ailments.

The urgent priority nowadays is health, especially in the case of children who often do not live as long as their parents.

Losing weight means you not only look better but you will also feel better, be more active and live longer.

Getting de-blobbed calls for a permanent change of attitude towards eating and exercise. The short term diet is not going to solve the problem. It calls for a lifetime changein eating and living habits.

It all needs careful thought and preparation and in most cases people will require help and guidance.

Before deciding on what course to take it is important to do some careful research. Remember, you don't just want to diet and lose weight. You want to change your eating habits and lose weight permanently.

Those diets that put it all back on later are just no good. You need a system that works for life.

There are many diets on the market and if you want to know which one I chose  you can visit my blog at http://bacterialvaginosisrelief.blogspot.com.

Yes, I was once a blob. Now I'm a much smaller blob. Sometimes now when I look in the mirror I say:'Jim, you're getting almost good looking again.'

Hope to see less of you all.
